- A de-boned turkey *, stuffed with a de-boned duck and a de-boned chicken,
and stuffed with your choice of dressings.
No waste! 15 pounds of de-boned* (Except for wing tips
and drum sticks), poultry and

* PLEASE NOTE: Due to overwhelming request from our
customers for the turkey's leg bones to be left in (Everyone loves
"drumsticks"), turduckens are now being shipped with the
"drumsticks" in place. To carve a turducken with the leg bones
in place, just cut off the legs as you would a traditional turkey. Then
slice the turducken as noted below.

"Tur-duc-kens" -- Leave it to
Louisiana to come up with something like this. As you well know, we LOVE
to eat. Here's a New Orleans creation that is excellent. This was featured
on the front page of the Wall Street Journal (Nov. 27, 1996). This is a
hand deboned turkey (Except for wing bones, and drumsticks), a fully hand
deboned duck and a fully hand deboned chicken, all rolled into one and
stuffed with your choice of stuffing (Listed below) with an array of
mouthwatering Cajun seasonings. Spicy? Yes . . . . Hot? Never!
(The big MYTH about Cajun food is that it has to
be HOT to be Cajun! This simply is not
true! "Spicy" means it has a blend of many spices for a
wonderful flavor . . . not just red pepper)
Turducken is frozen before it leaves the plant and shipped air freight.
Simply remove from the package, place thawed turducken in a roaster (We
suggest a throw-away aluminum roaster - no one here loves to scrub
roasting pans) and follow the simple two-step cooking instructions. We recommend using a meat thermometer and cook until the internal temp
reaches about 165 to170 degrees ( My personal choice). Serve
by cutting ACROSS turducken (long-ways), directly across the breast. No bones,
no expert required . . . slice as you would a meatloaf . . . across
(long-ways), so
that each slice has some turkey, duck or chicken and dressing.
Your choice of the following stuffing's, seasoned with an array of
Cajun seasonings.
1) Louisiana Style: Cornbread
and Rice dressing
2) Cajun Style: Seafood Jambalaya & Rice dressing (with
shrimp & crawfish)

Since there is always a chance for delivery delays due
to weather, etc. we recommend receiving your turducken
at least the week before you plan to serve.
Although it is rare, if a shipment is lost, damaged or
delayed,
we have time to ship another so your dinner is not
ruined.
Also,
Thanksgiving and
Christmas Day are holidays so
shipping or delivery date is not available on these days.
It is not
recommended to wait until the "week of serving" to
schedule delivery.
You should allow at least one day or more for:
1)
Possible shipping delays, due to weather, etc.
2)
thawing 1-2 days,
3)
consider the four hour cook time
on turduckens.

cannot ship over a weekend. Please make sure you leave a note for the
driver in your area to LEAVE THE PACKAGE if no one will be there to
receive it. This is just a precaution. There is no signature required.
Please note for perishable orders: Upon receipt, they may be soft
on the outside, but still frozen on the inside. It is perfectly safe to
place in the freezer the day it arrives to prepare at a later date. Remove
from freezer and place in the refrigerator to thaw 48 hours prior to
preparing. If you plan to prepare within 48 hours of delivery, place turducken in the refrigerator to continue to thaw.
